Vince is a recording and mix engineer, multi-instrumentalist, artist and producer from Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Born in Germany, he developed an interest in music at a young age which he pursued through drumming, citing Phil Collins as the “reason I do what I do”. Growing up, he was heavily impacted by classic RnB, Soul and Blues music.

He made the transition from an avid listener and performer to an artist, producer and engineer in 2019 after his acceptance at Berklee College of Music where he is currently pursuing his studies. As a multi-instrumentalist Baur wrote, recorded, and released his debut EP “Candid” in the summer of 2022.

Constantly striving to expand his portfolio, he has worked on projects with artists including Dean Foster, Preston Lydotes, Juan Botero, Ana Schon and Alester. A passion for both the analog recording world as well as the digital realm shapes his unique approach.
